Join us for Family Day workshops!

Conveniently grouped in The Rotunda, Design Victoria is bringing together a variety of workshops for curious young minds. Kids and families can come and explore a variety of activities:

- Kids will redesign an everyday object—the bicycle—through drawing, sketching, and colouring to make them more sustainable, user-friendly, and innovative with ANCORD Design Co in the Everyday Product Redesign Challenge.

- Creators of all ages are invited on a trip to Upcycle City, where they can re-imagine waste materials to build a vision for the future with dHKarchitects and design educator Kate Barton.

- Vancouver Island Marble will host a mini-scavenger hunt to identify local stone used within the Rotunda

- Explore Design Victoria's new brand identity through a stamp workshop with shapes created for Design Victoria.

- Vancouver Island University will display work by students from the graphic design course, who will be on hand to talk about the program with visitors.

- Camosun College will host family-friendly activities and explore materials that showcase the their community and courses.

Activities are ongoing and open from 10am-12:30pm at the Rotunda—stop by anytime!
