Along with timber and cement, the growth of Victoria is fuelled by imagination. Aryze invites guests to put their minds to work as we collectively envision the growth in store for one of North Park’s most interesting junctures.
The tour begins at Quadra and Balmoral, where the United Commons church awaits architectural revitalization—a project rooted in heritage preservation, culture and community. Adjacent, a purpose-built rental designed by MA+GH Architects, with ground-floor commercial space and a publicly accessible mews will invite existing and upcoming residents to engage with North Park pedestrian life in a new way.
Across the road at The Estoya, the first tangible marker of this transformation is nearing completion. Aryze’s first tower, designed by 5468796 Architecture, features a diaphanous commercial space alongside live-work studios designed to further redefine North Park’s relation between its built environment and the street. Guests will engage with the space in the midst of its transformation into programming that will prioritize cycling, connection, wellness and urban living.
The first leg of our tour will be led by Marianne Amodio and Harley Grusko from MA+HG and Kieran Lynch from Aryze. The second leg will be led by Colin Neufeld of 5468796 Architecture and Chris Quigley from Aryze.
Please note that personal protective equipment is required for the second leg of this tour. Aryze will have a limited amount of PPE available on a FCFS basis. If you require vest, hard hat or steel-toed boots email us via community@aryze.ca.
