Shaped by Air brings together four Victoria artists whose blown glass works explore the quiet drama of molten material shaped by breath. Subtle variations in thickness, transparency, surface and curvature reveal the physical intimacy of the process, foregrounding the act of making as much as the finished form.

Presented as part of Design Victoria, Shaped by Air features local artists Sarah Mulligan, Mark Roth, Jill Allan and John Krizan. Each artist brings a distinct voice and design sensibility to the exhibition, presenting works that range from decorative objects and lighting, to jewellery. Together, their work highlights the strength and variety of contemporary glass practice in Victoria, demonstrating blown glass as both a disciplined craft and a dynamic material for design.
