Talk:

Colour has the power to transform a room, changing how people feel and live. In this talk, Nora Bouz, an interior designer, will explore the psychology of colour, drawing from environmental psychology research, historical knowledge, and lived experience.

Attendees will learn about topics such as the psychology of colour: separating myth from evidence; how colour impacts mood, function, and the felt sense of a space; the formula for building a balanced colour palette for different moods and functions; layering colour for depth and harmony; paint colours: why mistakes happen and how to avoid them; and how light, materials, and pattern interact with colour.

The talk is open to all; no registration is required.

Workshop:

Following the talk, a hands-on workshop gives attendees the opportunity to put their learning into practice. Limited to 10 participants who have attended the preceding talk, the session offers focused guidance and individual support. Registration required.

Nora Bouz is a wellbeing interior designer and founder of Well by Design. Her practice draws on environmental psychology and biophilic design to create healthy, nurturing environments.
