Congregation Emanu-El of Victoria is the oldest actively used synagogue on the West Coast of Canada. Established in the early 1860s and predating the City of Victoria, British Columbia and Canada itself, the Heritage-designated sanctuary has gone through extensive renovations in the last decade, which were completed this year.
