As one of Canada’s most prominent dance presenters, Dance Victoria (DV) brings renowned dance companies from all over the world to perform at the Royal Theatre and McPherson Playhouse. In 2025, DV embarked on a rebranding process to coincide with its 30th anniversary in 2026/27. Following a competitive RFP process, Becoming Design Office was selected to lead the redesign of a visual identity that reflects Dance Victoria’s history, its distinct roles in the local and national performing arts milieux, and the diverse communities and stakeholders the organization serves.
Join Ross Chandler, Creative Director of Becoming and Gillian Jones, Executive Director of Dance Victoria, for the first public presentation of Dance Victoria’s new brand identity. The firm has designed a dynamic brand that is “built to move.” Every visual decision, from the geometry of the logo mark to the warm colour palette, is an invitation to experience dance as something alive and essential.
