Through live demonstrations with a model, Tim will demonstrate how simple window light compares to a single continuous LED light, and how small adjustments in direction, distance, and positioning can dramatically improve a portrait. Learn the foundations behind professional lighting approaches, including concepts like side lighting, Rembrandt lighting, and how light falloff affects the face.

Participants will have the opportunity to photograph a model and practice working with light themselves. You’ll leave with practical skills you can apply immediately, whether you’re shooting with your phone or a dedicated camera.
